I'm honestly not techy at all. Is that a problem?
That's exactly who we built this for. You won't touch WordPress, DNS settings, or anything with a scary name. You run your business; we run the online stuff and explain anything you actually want to understand in plain English.
Do you set up business email like name@mybusiness.com?
Yes. Every plan includes professional email at your own domain, so you look the part. We build it on Google Workspace (the Gmail you already know) or Microsoft 365, set it all up, and support it. Need more mailboxes than your plan includes? They're just $8/mo each.
Do I get my own domain name?
Yes — a standard .com domain is included with every plan, and we register it in your name, so you truly own it. If you ever leave, your domain and email go with you. No hostage situations. Already own a domain? Even easier — we'll connect the one you have.
What's your domain policy — who owns it and who renews it?
You own it. Your domain is registered in your business's name, with you listed as the legal owner — not us. While you're on a plan, your domain renewal is included and we handle it for you, so it never lapses by accident. A standard .com is covered; premium or specialty domains (some .io, .ai, or one-word names) can cost more, and we'll always tell you the price before registering. If you cancel, the domain stays yours — we'll transfer the keys to any registrar you like (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, etc.) at no charge, and after that you'd handle the small yearly renewal directly (usually $10–20/year). We never hold a domain hostage to keep your business.
What's the difference between Social Lite and Social Full?
Social grows with your plan: Get Online includes 3 posts a month to get you going, Get Found steps up to Social Lite (6 posts, plus comment and message replies), and Get Growing is Social Full (12 posts across two platforms, with both inboxes managed). By default we post to your Facebook page first, and add Instagram as the second platform on Social Full. To keep it efficient and affordable, posts are built from the photos and details you send us, include one round of tweaks, and we plan and schedule a whole month at a time.
How long until my website goes live?
Most small business websites take 2–4 weeks from start to finish. Bigger projects with online stores or custom features can run 4–8 weeks. We'll give you a firm timeline before we start.
What platform do you build on?
We pick the right one for you — usually Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, or Shopify — based on what you'll actually need to do day-to-day, not on what pays us a commission. You don't have to know or care which one; that's our job.
What counts as an "edit"?
Any change to your live site — updating text, swapping a photo, adding a special, tweaking a button. Small things take minutes; we track time and give you a friendly heads-up if you're getting close to your monthly hours. We usually handle small overages without billing for them. Bigger things — a whole new page, a redesign, custom features — aren't "edits," they're projects, and we quote those separately so there are no surprises.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Our plans are month-to-month by default — cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. We don't lock small businesses into long contracts. If you'd rather pay yearly to get one month free, you can choose that — but it's entirely optional, never required. The choice is yours.
What if I already have a website?
Great — we can take over hosting, email, your Google presence, and social, or redesign and rebuild what you've got. We'll do a free audit first and tell you honestly whether your current site is worth keeping.
Where are you based? Do you work with businesses in my area?
Both ways. We work remotely with small businesses across the US — most communication happens over email and quick video or phone calls, so distance is never an issue. And if you're local to us, we're happy to meet in person and handle things onsite too. Either way, we're never more than a message away.
